I got a commission for a knitted Space Invader sweater and this is the result. He that ordered it was very pleased, and when he was happy, I am happy too. The sweater is inspired by the Norwegian Marius sweater (which I have knitted here) and loosely based on this pattern. I had to changed it slightly to make it look even more like the old arcade game. Since we are talking about Space Invaders. We have an old Space Invader arcademachine at work. It is so cool.
I was out walking in the autumn weather with Boyfriend today. When we came to Nydalen (Oslo), we found two trees and a few lamp posts that had been exposed to guerilla knitting. I wonder who did it. It looks very nice.

I’ve finally started knitting again. This is a DROPS cape in “Alpaca” and “Vivaldi” - yarn, with buttons and belt. Patterns in Norwegian: here Patterns in English: here The cape is so soft and warm and I like it very much. The only change I did on the original pattern is that I made it narrower by about 50 stitches in width. The pattern was easy and it did not take very long to knit it.
